Welder/Metal Fabricator

We are a leading importer and manufacturer of glass machinery and handling equipment, is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Metal Fabricator to join our growing team in Minto, NSW. With over 15 years of experience supplying high-quality glass processing machinery, A-frame trolleys, glass truck bodies, and custom handling solutions across Australia, we pride ourselves on delivering durable, innovative products to the glass and aluminium industries.

This is a full-time position offer a competitive annual salary between 76,550-80,000 plus superannuation to start immediately.

Your main duties will include the following:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.

• Perform Welding and metal fabrication tasks to construct and assemble A-frame trolleys, glass racks & glass handling equipment.

• Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment.

• Cutting, drilling, welding & pop riveting mild steel

• Installation of frames on all commercial vehicles

• Dispatch – Pack all outstanding orders

• Loading & Unloading containers & trucks for deliveries & pick up

Successful candidate must demonstrate the following attributes:

• Ability to read drawings

• Have at least 2 years experience in Welding or Metal Fabrication

• Current drivers licence & own reliable transport

• Hold a least a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.

• Demonstrate a high quality of workmanship & attention to detail

• Valid work rights in Australia (Subclass Visa 482 holders are welcome to apply)

• Be willing to Travel (drive) interstate for installation when required

• Ability to work unsupervised and also in a team environment

This role is immediate start Monday to Friday 38 hours per week, working hours are flexible. Candidates must be willing to undertake practical assessment. You must have the right work in Australia.
