Small Animal Medicine Specailists operating out of Western Australian Veterinary Emergency and Specialty, PERTH, AUSTRALIA
WAVES (Western Australian Veterinary Emergency & Specialty) is currently seeking a veterinarian who is qualified small animal medicine specialist (ECVIM or ACVIM or Australian Fellow) to join and further promote our medicine team. The position is full time hours over 4-day per week.
Our medicine team consists of four ECVIM medicine Specialists and two ECVIM residents. Your role will be to consult on patients that have been referred to our hospital and investigate and manage them to the level expected of a specialists. You can also be involved in the training of ECVIM residents.
WAVES is a truly multi-disciplinary hospital and believes in a team orientated approach to patient care with close interaction between our other specialties in Anaesthesia, Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Dermatology, Dentistry and Radiology. Our ECC clinic provides 24/7 support and care for our patients so that we can sleep well at night knowing that they are being well looked after.
Our 1400m2 facility features an on-site 1.5T MRI, 64 slice CT, two C-arms, two digital radiography suites, feline radioiodine unit and endoscopic equipment. WAVES is located in Perth, on the west coast of Australia. Perth is an amazingly modern and beautiful city with a enviable climate. The lifestyle is relaxed with beautiful beaches, the wonderful waterways of the Swan River, fantastic wineries and other getaways within a short drive of the city, as well as a climate to envy.
We are searching for someone with personal drive for clinical excellence and be dedicated to providing awesome care for both your patients and your hospital team. Sponsorship for a visa to work in Australia will be provided. Salary on offer is $180,000 to $210,000 per annum plus superannuation.
