The business is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across various locations, while maintaining high standards of customer service and complying with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

·Maintain the truck and all company equipment in a clean, organized, and presentable condition at all times.

·Assess the weight and volume of materials to ensure they are suitable for transport and comply with load capacity regulations.

·Possess comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices for efficient and secure loading and unloading operations.

·Supervise the loading process to confirm that all goods are properly and securely stowed within the truck’s bed.

·Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to verify its optimal working condition, including checks on tires, brakes, lights, signals, mirrors, fluid levels, and other critical components.

·Conduct a thorough review of all loading documentation—including bills of lading, delivery orders, and manifests—to verify their accuracy and completeness prior to leaving the loading site.

·Operate the truck safely and responsibly to transport materials to and from various sites or other assigned destinations.

·Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials using appropriate methods and equipment.

Skills and Experience:

·Certificate III qualification is required.

·The candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant experience.

·Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.

·Able to work under pressure.

·Valid driver's license

·Ability to handle and transport lightweight but bulky materials.

Salary Package: $75,000 - $90,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
