Key Responsibilities
·Work with users, including management, care staff, and administrative teams, to formulate and document business requirements
·Identify, investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures, and work practices across care and administrative functions
·Evaluate existing care management, rostering, and client information systems, identifying inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices and system improvements
·Develop functional specifications and system design documentation for use by developers and vendors
·Use data and process modelling techniques to produce clear system specifications supporting system design and development
·Act as a central reference point for system-related information, providing guidance and support in project decision-making processes
·Liaise between end users and IT teams/vendors to ensure effective communication, system development, and integration
·Apply project management methodologies, principles, and techniques to assist in planning, resourcing, and delivering system-related projects
·Take responsibility for deploying functional solutions, including developing and implementing system test plans to ensure quality, integrity, and performance
·Support implementation and optimisation of systems used for client care, scheduling, payroll, and reporting
·Ensure systems comply with healthcare regulations, data privacy laws, and organisational policies
·Develop user documentation, training materials, and conduct formal training sessions for staff
·Analyse workflows to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement
Skills and Qualifications
·Minimum Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
·At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Systems Analyst
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
·Experience in systems analysis, process modelling, and requirements gathering
·Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
·Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Desirable
·Experience in healthcare, aged care, disability services, or NDIS environments
·Familiarity with care management, rostering, or client management systems
·Understanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements
