About the role/s

Eastern Health is seeking passionate and motivated Grade 2 Speech Pathologists to join our Allied Health teams across acute, subacute and ambulatory services. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred assessment and therapy services, collaborating closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to establish goals and optimise outcomes. As a Grade 2 clinician, you will also play a key role in supervising and mentoring junior staff and students, contributing to a culture of learning and professional excellence. The position offers scope to participate in research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives, while representing the Speech Pathology discipline within the broader health network. Whether your interests lie in acute care, rehabilitation, or community-based services, Eastern Health provides a supportive and inclusive environment with opportunities for professional growth and career development.

About you  

To be successful in this role you will possess: 

  • Eligibility for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • An established track record of highly developed interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • Ability to set relevant rehabilitation short term goals with your clients
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team
