About The Opportunity
As a Site Manager for a boutique Class 2 residential development, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage construction activities, workforce, materials, and equipment to meet program and budget targets.
- Implement Inspection & Test Plans and ensure works meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain WHS compliance through toolbox talks, SWMS management, inductions, and safety planning.
- Coordinate inspections with PCA, consultants, and authorities while addressing defects and issues.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labour to maintain productivity and program delivery.
- Manage site logistics including deliveries, site access, procurement, and resource scheduling.
- Maintain accurate documentation while monitoring site operations, risks, and compliance standards.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Site Manager or Senior Foreman on Class 2 residential projects.
- Proven delivery of boutique or mid-rise residential construction developments.
- Strong ability in coordinating consultants and resolving design and build issues.
- Experience managing procurement, site logistics, and construction programs.
- Solid understanding of NSW construction regulations and site procedures.
- Trade qualification in Carpentry or similar with drawing interpretation skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organised site management approach.
- White Card, driver’s licence, and strong commitment to safety and compliance.
