Sarjan Homes Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced, skilled, Site Engineer performing the tasks of a Civil Engineering Technician, who will be responsible for not only liaising with clients, architects, consultants & subcontractors, but reviewing engineering drawings, resolving construction queries and assisting the entire process through to completion.
The Site Engineer at Sarjan Homes Pty Ltd will be responsible for the following:
·Developing concepts, designs, drawings and project documentation for the residential and commercial building projects
·Scoping sites, scheduling of site works, managing, coordinating and assisting the Lead engineer in project management.
·Estimating the project including co-ordination with the consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients as well for additional information.
·Directing and assisting in work on the job site and ensure site coordination to comply with OHS standards and report issues.
·Organize and supervise building works including inspections and site visits of civil engineering works
·Testing and inspecting construction material.
·Evaluating project processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure they adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and project-specific requirements.
·Identifying non-conformities and discrepancies, and work with relevant teams to develop corrective actions.
·Responsible for the improvement of Quality Assurance, Workplace Health & Safety regulations and general efficiency of on-site construction activities, minimising risk, whilst promoting safety.
·Analysis of data, charts, tabulations and strong ability to perform calculations on the fly.
Essential skills:
·Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or similar)
·Understanding of civil standards, safety, and QA systems
·3 to 5 years of highly relevant work experience. Civil construction experience (essential).
·Good communication skills, and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
·Ability to engage, lead and motivate employees to deliver on service values
·Exceptional team building capability
·A desire to be better and contribute to the team and the entire business as a result
