2XM Recruit is partnering with a high-performing structural consultancy delivering technically complex high-rise, commercial and mixed-use developments across Western Australia.

Due to continued project wins and a strong forward pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer / Project Lead to take ownership of project delivery while providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary design teams.

The Role
You will take responsibility for the leadership, coordination and delivery of structural engineering projects across multiple building developments.
Working closely with clients, architects and construction teams, you will ensure designs are technically robust, commercially viable and practical to construct.
This position suits a senior structural engineer who enjoys balancing technical design leadership with project ownership and client engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural projects through design, documentation and construction phases
• Manage project programs, deliverables and resource allocation
• Act as primary liaison with clients, builders and consultants
• Review and approve structural analysis, calculations and drawings
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability development
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and internal QA/QC systems
• Support value engineering and buildability optimisation

About You
To be successful in this role you will likely bring:

• Degree qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering
• 8 years’ experience within a structural consultancy environment
• Strong reinforced concrete and structural steel design capability
• Experience delivering commercial or high-rise building projects
• Demonstrated project leadership or client coordination exposure
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple projects

Highly regarded:

• Chartered / CPEng status (or working toward)
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading small teams
