The Senior Analytics Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing strategic client relationships by delivering advanced data analytics and kdb+ solutions. This role combines technical expertise with commercial accountability, focusing on client satisfaction, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the design and delivery of tailored analytics platforms and services.
This role aligns client needs with innovative data solutions, drives revenue growth, and supports long-term client retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with existing enterprise clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all analytics and data platform engagements.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, including upselling analytics solutions, system enhancements, and ongoing support services.
- Lead the preparation, coordination, and presentation of technical proposals, solution designs, and commercial tenders.
- Analyse client business requirements and recommend appropriate data architectures, kdb+ solutions, and technology stacks aligned with client objectives.
- Oversee the delivery of analytics projects, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, and client expectations.
- Collaborate with internal development teams to design and implement high-performance data systems and analytics pipelines.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on data management, real-time analytics, and system optimisation.
- Monitor client satisfaction, proactively address issues, and ensure long-term retention and value delivery.
- Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple client engagements.
- Mentor and support junior consultants and developers, including technical guidance and training.
- Maintain strong knowledge of emerging technologies, analytics tools, and market trends to support client advisory and solution development.
Key Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in client relationship management within ICT or analytics environments
- Demonstrated ability to identify commercial opportunities and grow client accounts
- Technical expertise in:
- kdb+/q (or similar high-performance data systems)
- Data engineering/analytics platforms
- Experience in solution architecture and technical advisory
- Proven capability in proposal development and client presentations
- Project management experience across a technical delivery environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
