Permanent Senior Accountant Position | North Brisbane Location | $100,000 - $130,000 + super

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Support all core accounting cycles, including monthend tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing compliance across financial processes.
- Deliver clear, insightful reporting and analysis, partnering with operational leaders to strengthen decisionmaking, performance outcomes, and financial accountability.
- Manage key revenue and incomerelated workflows, including admission, billing, compliance activities, brokerage oversight, and financial system support.
- Drive process improvement and capability uplift, identifying efficiencies, contributing to business cases and financial modelling, supporting audits, and developing team members in best practice.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience, including a degree and CPA status, proven capability in a similar accounting role, and the ability to work flexibly when required.
- Strong technical proficiency, with solid skills across Microsoft Office, the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability, supported by initiative, accuracy, independent working capability, and a collaborative, teamfocused approach.
- Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills, along with a commitment to ongoing professional growth, understanding of relevant regulatory environments (desirable), and full Australian working rights.
