Position: Retail Manager (Full-time)

Location: Castle Towers, Castle Hills NSW 2154

Salary: $77,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation

Minimum Requirements:

AQF Associate Diploma and 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure a high level of customer service and the smooth operation of each shift.
  2. Allocate tasks and responsibilities to staff members during their respective shifts.
  3. Address customer concerns and escalate issues to senior management when necessary.
  4. Provide training and guidance to new employees to support effective onboarding.
  5. Foster a healthy working environment by resolving staff issues and workplace disputes.
  6. Evaluate staff performance and offer constructive feedback and additional training as needed.
  7. Maintain operational efficiency and uphold restaurant standards throughout each shift.
  8. Perform end-of-day sales closures when required.
  9. Report operational or staffing issues to senior management regularly.
  10. Prepare staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage across trading hours.
  11. Supervise staff during shifts, assign specific tasks, and offer assistance as needed.
  12. Ensure that all team members uphold high service standards and comply with workplace policies and procedures.
  13. Collaborate with business owners to finalize budgeting matters and manage cost allocation effectively.

Skills Required:

  1. Passion for the retail sector and providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team to meet high service standards.
  3. Proven success in meeting sales, wage, and stock loss targets.
  4. Strong skills in stock management and loss prevention.
  5. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving sales and achieving KPIs.
