We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our civil infrastructure delivery team on a major road project that has attracted significant public and media attention. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating site delivery, driving quality outcomes, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daytoday project activities to meet program milestones
- Assist with project planning, programming and efficient construction methodologies
- Support commercial management including cost tracking, variations, claims and EOTs
- Ensure all QA documentation, testing and certification requirements are met
- Provide technical guidance to site teams, including interpretation of drawings, specifications and contract conditions
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Monitor and support health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
- Assist with subcontractor management, procurement and resource allocation
- Prepare reports covering progress, costs and project performance
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or similar) or minimum 4+ years relevant civil construction experience
- Strong experience in road construction or civil infrastructure projects
- Sound understanding of construction methodologies, specifications and quality systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, highprofile environment
- Confident communicator with a collaborative, solutionsfocused approach.
- Proficient with project software and reporting tools (MS Excel, Word, programming tools)
- Current driving licence and construction safety induction (White/Blue Card)
