About the Role:

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is eager to recruit a Podiatrist to work in our dynamic, growing and supportive team, to help us deliver exceptional care to our community. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your clinical skills within a collaborative Allied Health environment.

As a Podiatrist with NALHN, you will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment services across inpatient, outpatient, acute, and Intermediate Care settings, contributing to improved health outcomes for people living with chronic and complex conditions. Working within the Intermediate Care Service, your interventions will play a crucial role in helping patients maintain independence and avoid unnecessary hospital readmissions, directly enhancing their quality of life.

The Allied Health Chronic Disease Intermediate Care Services bring together Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Social Work and Interdisciplinary Complex Self-Management support services, working collaboratively with services from the NALHN Clinical Divisions and Aboriginal Health Services, to optimise health outcomes and reduce hospital admissions for patients with Diabetes, Cardiac and Respiratory Diseases, and vulnerable people with other chronic diseases.

Appointment to this role will be at the AHP1 or AHP2 classification, dependent on the level of experience.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.

Your experience includes delivering podiatric care for chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart failure, and respiratory illness, and you thrive in an interdisciplinary team environment. With strong clinical judgement, collaborative spirit, and dedication to person‑centred care, you are ready to contribute to a high‑functioning and supportive Allied Health team.
