Pharmacist

Vincentia Pharmacy Pty Ltd currently trading as Choice Pharmacy Vincentia are looking for a full-time Pharmacist to join the team at their pharmacy in Vincentia, NSW.

Duties

Duties will include:

 Reviewing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently, preparing medication as

required

 Providing advice and supplying S2/S3 non-prescription medication, practitioner products and

health aids

 Providing clear, practical advice to customers about their medications and other related

health products

 Medical intervention and liaising with prescribers if necessary

 Supporting patients with their health concerns in a friendly and professional way

 Delivering services such as vaccinations (if accredited), medication reviews, MedsCheck, and

Diabetes MedsCheck

 Managing dispensary inventory, stock control and ensuring medications and vaccines are

stored correctly

 Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality, ensuring that other systems are

and registers such as the Danger Drug Register are accurate and up to date

 Working closely with the rest of the team to keep things running smoothly

 Keeping up to date with current pharmacy guidelines and requirements

Skills, qualifications and experience

- Must have completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or higher

- At least 2 years of relevant work experience

- Provisional or full registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA

- Someone who communicates well and genuinely enjoys helping people

- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Vaccination accreditation or willingness to obtain it (preferred but not essential)

The salary for the position is $77,000 per annum plus superannuation.
