Painter

DYNAMIC SOLUTIONS GROUP PTY LTD is seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across a range of commercial and industrial projects.

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Preparing surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes and removing old paint
2. Applying paints, varnishes and sealants to surfaces using brushes, rollers and spray equipment
3. Measuring areas and calculating material requirements
4. Erecting ladders and scaffolding where required
5. Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards
6. Cleaning equipment and maintaining tools in good working order
7. Inspecting completed work to ensure compliance with specifications
8. Mixing paints to achieve required colours and finishes

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent)
2. Minimum 2 years of full-time relevant work experience
3. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
4. Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
