Prestige Home Transformations is looking for a Professional Painter to join our team.

Experienced Painter

1. Permanent full-time position
2. 38 hours per week
3. Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year plus superannuation (commensurate with experience)
4. Sunshine Coast based, with regular regional travel

We are seeking a self-motivated and reliable Painter to join our team.

Key Duties:

1. Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling holes, repairing woodwork, removing old paint or wallpaper, and sealing surfaces;
2. Apply paints, varnishes and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers or spray equipment;
3. Mix and match paints and colours to project specifications;
4. Apply undercoats and finishing coats including oil-based paints, enamels, acrylics, stains and varnishes;
5. Inspect surfaces and completed work to ensure quality standards are met;
6. Maintain and clean tools, equipment and work areas;
7. Estimate material requirements and manage paint supplies for projects;
8. Follow project specifications and directions from supervisors;
9. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements at all job sites.

Requirements:

1. Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification (preferred);
2. At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Painter;
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team;
4. Good communication skills.
