Hydra Logistics is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated and capable New Business Sales Representative with experience in domestic transport or freight management. If you enjoy winning new accounts and want a role with strong earning potential and solid support — this is an excellent opportunity.

We deliver transport solutions across cartons, pallets, oversized freight, machinery parts and more. With access to multiple carriers, competitive pricing and a responsive operations team, you’ll have every advantage to win and retain customers.

About the Role

This is a full-time position focused on new business development across Perth and interstate markets.

You’ll identify prospects, book meetings, quote, close deals and onboard the accounts you bring on. You will also continue managing these customers with support from our operations and supplier network.

Regular interstate travel is required.

Key Responsibilities

  1. 90% focus on new business acquisition
  2. Identify, target and convert B2B customers
  3. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  4. Cross-sell across our full domestic transport service offering
  5. Prepare quotes, proposals and presentations
  6. Manage accounts you onboard and ensure a smooth operations handover
  7. Collaborate closely with suppliers and operations teams

What We’re Looking For

  1. 1–3 years of B2B sales experience (transport or related industry preferred)
  2. Understanding of domestic freight processes, pricing and service types
  3. Strong communication and presentation skills
  4. Confident prospector who isn’t afraid of cold calling
  5. Strong organisational ability and pipeline management
  6. Good commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
  7. Solid IT capability, especially Microsoft Excel
  8. Current driver’s licence
