ICO Asia Pacific Australia Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced NDT Technician to work in Perth and regional WA.
Applicants must possess the following skills and attributes:
Recommended Criteria:
· 2+ years of NDT based experience.
· Working at Heights ticket
· Working in Confined Spaces ticket
· Current driver’s license
· A commitment to OH&S in the workplace
· Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to operate as a team player as well as work autonomously.
Job description:
· Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to oil and gas drilling tools, drill pipe and bottom hole assembly to ensure the health and safety standard, and the serviceability of the equipment.
· Inspecting tools and equipment to ensure the compliance with the industry standard and legal requirement.
· Provide standard cleaning and testing to the new and old machines and equipment.
· Travel to the client's location for the testing and servicing drilling tools and equipment to detect any hazardous materials in complying with occupational health and safety requirements.
· Assist in overseeing inspection projects and witnessing of equipment handling.
· Act as the Customer's onsite representative for the quality control purposes.
