Motor Mechanic

Car Care Automotive (SA) Pty Ltd, located in Ridgehaven, SA 5097, is seeking a qualified and dedicated motor mechanic to join our team. With a focus on customer satisfaction, we service a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, 4WDs, and light commercial vehicles.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of mechanical tasks, including diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and associated parts.
2. Disassembling, inspecting, and repairing vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, and steering systems.
3. Replacing worn or faulty parts, reassembling engines, and testing repaired systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
4. Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, engine tune-ups, and compliance checks with pollution regulations.
5. Issuing roadworthiness certificates after detailed vehicle inspections.
6. Providing breakdown support and responding to service calls.
7. Utilizing diagnostic tools and computer systems to identify and rectify issues.

Requirements:

1. Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
2. Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
3. A valid Australian driver’s license.
4. Strong diagnostic skills and experience using modern diagnostic equipment.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. A commitment to delivering quality work and customer service.
