We are looking for a Motor Mechanic to join our growing workshop team. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles while ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and electrical diagnostics, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy. This is a full-time ongoing position based in Kardinya, WA.
Main tasks:
-Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment
-Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components
-Conduct routine servicing including oil changes, filters, fluid replacements, and belt inspections
-Inspect vehicles to identify worn, faulty, or damaged parts
-Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs and ensure optimal performance
-Maintain accurate and detailed service records for all work completed
-Follow workplace health and safety procedures and workshop policies
-Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace, including tools and equipment
Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:
-Relevant Trade qualification
-At least 3 years of experience
Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:
-Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s licence
Annual salary will be between $76,000.00 to $86,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
