Our client,Kojonup Enterprises Pty Ltd is an Australian owned & operated Company operating in the regional Western Australia. We are multi specialised business operating predominantly in automotive industry.

We are looking for full time qualified Motor Mechanic and Diesel Motor Mechanic.We are situated at 98, Albany Hwy, Centennial Park, WA – 6330

Roles & Responsibilities of Motor Mechanic:

·Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tyres.

·Inspect and adjust mechanical systems to verify alignment, balance, and fit after the repairs.

·Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of different brands of vehicles in compliance with manufacturer’s guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations.

·Provide accurate estimates of cost, time, effort for a repair or maintenance job.

·Dealing with suspensions, brakes, air conditioning, coolant and other components of vehicles.

·Inspect removed parts for wear, damage, or other issues to determine whether repairs or replacements are needed.

·Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis and performing duties in a timely and accurate manner.

·Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to evaluate the performance of repaired components such as engines, transmissions, and braking systems.

·Respond promptly to vehicle breakdown service calls and travel to the location of the stranded vehicle.

·Inspect mechanisms of engine, transmissions, steering, or other components including dismantling and reassembling of engine parts, ensuring all parts are correctly installed and properly functioning.

Requirements

·Certificate III qualification in a relevant field is essential.

·A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.

·A motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong drive to excel.

·Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation

Roles & Responsibilities of Diesel Motor Mechanic:

·Testing and adjusting repaired systems to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

·Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records for fleet vehicles and equipment.

·Inspecting vehicles to identify potential mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety and roadworthiness standards.

·Ensuring workshop tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment are used and maintained appropriately.

·Following workplace health and safety procedures while performing mechanical tasks.

·Diagnosing mechanical faults and malfunctions in diesel engines, heavy vehicles, and related systems using diagnostic equipment.

·Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension systems, and steering components.

·Dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and replacing defective engine parts and components.

·Conducting routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of engine components.

Skills and Experience:

·Certificate IV qualification in a relevant field is essential.

·A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.

·A motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong drive to excel.

·Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary Package: $70,000 - $85,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
