An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Mental Health Clinician with tertiary qualifications in appropriate disciplines (Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing or Clinical Psychology) to join The Darwin Clinic team. The Darwin Clinic offers evidence-based therapy treatment programs for people with a range of psychiatric conditions and will include inpatient and outpatient groups.
As a Mental Health Clinician your experience will include:
· Working in a Multidisciplinary Team – and teamwork experience
· using ACT, CBT, DBT –formal training in these therapies and Intervention
· facilitating group therapy .
· Care Planning for Adult Mental Health clients
· risk assessment and safety planning
· Clinically collaborates with multidisciplinary team through developing inpatient and outpatient programs, triaging inpatient and outpatient admissions and participating in case conference meetings with treating psychiatrists.

In February 2021, a purpose built 18 bed inpatient Mental Health & AoD Unit, The Darwin Clinic opened, a new service for patients in the Northern Territory. It also incorporates a dedicated Day Rehabilitation Program. The Darwin Clinic will offer Territorians a range of vital mental health supports, including alcohol and drug withdrawal programs, and treatment for a range of mental health conditions including personality disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorders.
