Your new role
As a Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of mechanical services design across a range of building projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders, your responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical services design including HVAC, ventilation and associated systems
- Producing high quality engineering documentation and calculations
- Coordinating designs with hydraulic, electrical and structural disciplines
- Engaging directly with clients, architects and contractors
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction and commissioning
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
This role suits an engineer who enjoys both the technical and client-facing aspects of consulting engineering.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy environment
- Working knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements
- Experience using industry standard design and modelling tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit MEP)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Eligibility (or pathway) for Engineers Australia membership
Engineers at intermediate through to senior level are encouraged to apply.
