About the Role

Brazilian Style Imports is an import, wholesale & distribution company specialising in leading Brazilian style foods, beverages and lifestyle products sourced directly from international manufacturers and distributed to retailers, cafes, restaurants and distributors across Australia and the Pacific. We are seeking a capable Marketing Specialist to identify market opportunities, develop and implement marketing strategies, and contribute to the promotion and growth of Brazilian Style Imports’ product range.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct market research to identify demand trends and consumer preferences for Brazilian and South American food, beverage and lifestyle products in the Australian market, including analysis of competitor offerings and niche cultural segments.
  2. Analyse sales data, customer behaviour and product performance across retail and online channels to support strategic decisions on product selection, pricing and inventory planning for imported goods.
  3. Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies and campaigns to promote Brazilian cultural products, enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement across diverse audiences.
  4. Advise management on product mix, pricing structures, promotional activities and distribution channels, ensuring alignment with market demand and the company’s positioning as a supplier of authentic Brazilian products.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, social media and in-store promotions, and provide insights and recommendations to optimise reach and conversion.
  6. Coordinate marketing activities across digital platforms, including website content, email marketing and social media, ensuring consistent brand messaging that reflects the company’s identity and cultural heritage.
  7. Liaise with suppliers, distributors and internal teams to support the timely execution of marketing initiatives, product launches and promotional events within budget and operational timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
  2. Proven experience in marketing, advertising or a related professional capacity with demonstrated strategic and analytical skills.

Technical & Interpersonal Skills

  1. Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including content development and campaign messaging.
  3. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  4. Effective collaboration skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes.
