We are working closely with a longstanding steel fabrication business in Boondall that have an eye for detail, clean and modern workshop and a heap of long term staff! They are at the forefront of Queensland's structural steel projects and committed to their employee's development. The Role:
There are multiple day and afternoon shifts available! All staff start on day shifts for 1-2 months for training and assessment. These position will contribute to the businesses product output for a range of commercial and creative projects across South East Queensland. Full training will be provided and opportunity to further develop your skill base.
What You'll Do:
- Operate cutting-edge steel processing machinery.
- Handle and manoeuvre steel materials efficiently.
- Ensure top-notch quality control and order fulfilment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Working Hours:
Day Shift:
- 6:00 am to 4:00 pm most days
Afternoon Shift:
- 2:30 pm to midnight
What We're Looking For:
- No prior experience required (metal production experience is a plus).
- Must hold a valid forklift license.
- For the Day to Afternoon Shift role - Flexibility to complete a 1 to 2 months day shift training will be required.
