Your new role
You will be providing high quality customer service and administrative support, undertaking a range of duties including:

  • Conduct facetoface product sales at the trade counter.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers.
  • Promote products by highlighting quality, value, and benefits.
  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, or fax, aiming to convert enquiries into sales.
  • Process customer orders and coordinate with warehouse and machining teams to ensure accurate and timely supply.
  • Identify and match customer samples using product catalogues.
  • Measure products to determine correct requirements, including metric/imperial conversions.
  • Support administrative processes including invoicing, packing slips, and payment handling.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit quotations.
  • Manage branch inventory, including receiving, storing, and retrieving stock.
  • Maintain a clean and organised branch and trade counter environment.
  • Action new enquiries efficiently to meet customer expectations and timeframes.
  • Assist with general administrative and stores duties as required.
  • Perform basic quality assurance tasks.
