The Bright College is a Registered Training Organization (RTO) located in Perth CBD. We provide quality education to both Domestic and international students across a range of qualifications. We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and Full-time ICT Support Technician (NEC) with experience in the training/education sector supporting both domestic and international students.
About the Role
As an ICT Support Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting the College’s IT systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will provide technical support to staff and students, troubleshoot issues, and assist in managing hardware, software, and network systems.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the administration and academic teams to deliver reliable and efficient IT support services.
Key Responsibilities
. Identify software and hardware requirements to resolve technical issues
· Respond to user inquiries regarding IT-related problems
· Install, configure, and update software and systems
· Maintain and support computer networks and systems
· Adapt and troubleshoot programs based on user needs
· Ensure efficient use of IT systems and equipment
· Assist in website maintenance and updates
· Repair or replace hardware components such as printers and peripherals
· Provide support in a fast-paced environment, including call-based support if required
· Support and maintain Student Management Systems and Learning Management Systems, like aXcelerate,Powerpro and Moodle
. Administer and support Microsoft environments, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory (AD), user accounts, email configuration, and access management
. Manage devices and security policies using Microsoft Intune (endpoint management, device compliance, app deployment)
About You
You are a reliable and solution-focused IT professional with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
We’re looking for someone who:
· Has 1–3 years of experience in an ICT support or similar role
· Holds a Bachelor-level qualification in IT or a related field
· Has strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking systems
· Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting and technical support skills
· Has good communication skills to support staff and students effectively
· Has good knowledge of Student Management Systems and Learning Management Systems, including aXcelerate, PowerPro, and Moodle
· Is organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
· Experience in the education or training sector is highly regarded
