Our client is a South Australian-based transport and crane truck hire business, providing reliable lifting, logistics, and freight solutions across Adelaide and surrounding regions. The business operates a modern fleet and delivers services ranging from general freight to oversized and specialised transport solutions.
Due to continued growth and increasing operational complexity, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced ICT Business Analyst to support system optimisation, digital transformation, and operational efficiency improvements.
The current customer booking process is heavily reliant on manual communication, with customers required to submit service requests via phone or email. This is followed by customised quotation preparation and multiple rounds of follow-up communication to confirm key booking details such as service time, location, and resource requirements.
This manual workflow is time-consuming, inefficient, and increasingly difficult to manage as demand grows. With ongoing expansion and increasing service complexity, the existing process is no longer sustainable and is limiting operational scalability.
To address these challenges, the role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing an integrated online booking system to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
