Step Into a Role Where You Support People, Culture, and Growth

BRAMS is looking for multiple full-time Human Resources Officers based in Broome, WA.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting a growing organisation by delivering practical, consistent, and people-focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Coordinating end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  2. Preparing employment contracts, letters of offer, and HR documentation
  3. Providing day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and staff
  4. Assisting with employee relations matters, including performance and workplace issues
  5. Maintaining accurate HR records, systems, and compliance registers
  6. Monitoring mandatory training, safety screening, and workforce compliance
  7. Supporting payroll processes through accurate HR data management
  8. Contributing to workforce initiatives, engagement activities, and HR improvements
  9. Supporting the continuous improvement of HR systems, policies, and processes

Bring Your Experience. Grow With the Team.

To be successful, you will bring experience in a generalist HR role, ideally with at least 2 years’ exposure across areas such as recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration. Formal qualifications in human resources, business, or a related discipline will be well regarded, but are not essential for candidates with relevant hands-on experience.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  1. Sound knowledge of Employment Legislation, Awards, and HR best practice
  2. Experience using HR systems (ELMO or similar preferred)
  3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  4. Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration
  5. Exposure to employee relations, compliance, or WHS processes
