The Ashford hotel and Restaurant, a well-established and highly rated hotel in the heart of Ashford, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Hotel Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in providing exceptional guest experiences, and can oversee daily hotel operations with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Manage reservations, check-ins/outs, guest inquiries, and complaints
- Supervise and roster staff to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the property
- Manage budgets, expenses, and daily financial reporting
- Coordinate with external contractors when required
- Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and operational policies
- Promote the hotel and support business growth initiatives
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in motel/hotel management or similar hospitality role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
- Good computer skills (PMS, booking systems, email, reporting)
- Reliable, organised, and dedicated to high service standards
- Must have full working rights in Australia
Salary & Benefit
- $78,000 - $85,000 per year(based on experience)
