Position Overview
The Hospitality Worker will assist with front-of-house service, food handling, and general customer service duties to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide prompt service.
• Take food and beverage orders and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
• Serve meals, snacks, and beverages to customers in accordance with service standards.
• Assist with preparing simple food items, beverages, and takeaway orders as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations.
• Replenish food displays, beverage stations, and service areas as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve minor service issues professionally.
• Assist with clearing tables, washing utensils, and maintaining general cleanliness.
• Support kitchen staff during busy service periods when required.
• Restock supplies and assist with receiving and organising deliveries.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficient service operations.
Skills and Experience
• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
