The Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Hairdresser / Barber to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for providing a range of hairdressing and barbering services while maintaining excellent customer service and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·Perform hairdressing and barbering services as requested by customers

·Maintain a high level of self-quality assurance

·Advise customers on suitable hairstyles and raise any concerns about requested styles

·Aim to improve your quality and speed every week

·Conduct customer style consultations and deliver excellent customer service

·Advise customers of the cost before starting any service

·Keep your work area and back-of-house clean; dust and wipe your area daily

·Be friendly, patient, and courteous to all staff – respect others even when they are wrong

Immediately report to the employer:

·Any customer or store complaints

·Unsafe or broken machinery/tools/equipment

·Low supplies

·Any dishonest or suspected dishonest behaviour of any person/employee that may affect the company

·Any employee who is rude or offensive to a customer or another employee

·Any employee asking intrusive questions about another employee’s wages/salary

·Poor job quality (your own or co-workers’) – quality control is everyone’s responsibility

About You:

·Qualified hairdresser/barber with relevant experience

·Strong attention to detail and hygiene

·Excellent communication and customer service skills

·Team player who respects workplace policies and colleagues
