Rothwell Family Practice serves to provide optimal care for our patients.
We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner who is passionate about preventative health and thrive in a collaborative, client-centred environment.
Applicants must:
- Hold current registration with AHPRA
- Hold a recognised medical degree (e.g., MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited university
- Possess 2-5 years of experience working as a General Practitioner
- Demonstrate strong clinical expertise with a comprehensive understanding of general medical practice
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commit to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and clinical practice
Duties:
- Consult with patients and perform clinical examinations to diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, while maintaining accurate patient records
- Develop patient-centred care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and coordinate referrals with other health professionals
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory investigations, X-rays, and other procedures
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including prescribing and administering medications and treatments
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as required
- Perform medical procedures, including minor surgical interventions
A salary of $150,000 - $200,000 plus super will be offered to the successful applicant.
