About the role
We are looking for a vibrant, professionally presented individual with warm and excellent accounting skills. You must have the ability to work in a team environment with sound communication, interpersonal skills and excellent time management skills.
As Graduate Accountant your main duties will be:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Payroll
- Bank and other reconciliations
- Regulatory compliance and lodgements
- Financial reporting and preparation of management accounts
- The role will also include administration applicable to accounting practice, such as filing, document maintenance and customer records.
- Other reasonable duties as requested by the management.
Qualification required for this role:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting
- National Police Clearance
- Completed Xero online certification.
- Ability to develop sound client relationships.
- Concern for quality & standards.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Driver’s license and access to own vehicle
- A high level of professional written and oral communication skills is critical.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Relevant work rights
