Fleet Manager – Melbourne Regional VIC
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee and optimise our growing vehicle fleet operations in Melbourne Regional Wallan . This is a key role responsible for ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost control across the fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day fleet operations (vehicles, drivers, scheduling)
- Ensure compliance with Australian transport regulations (NHVR & CoR)
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, and inspections
- Monitor fuel usage, costs, and fleet performance
- Manage vendor relationships (mechanics, suppliers, leasing companies, insurance companies)
- Implement safety policies and improve operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years experience in fleet or retail management
- Strong knowledge of Australian road and safety regulations
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Experience with fleet management systems/software
- Valid driver licence
Preferred:
- Experience managing large or mixed fleets
- Background in management industry
