Fencing Coach

1. Plan, design, and deliver structured fencing training programs for athletes of different ages and skill levels
2. Teach and demonstrate correct fencing techniques, tactics, footwork, blade work, and rules
3. Conduct individual and group coaching sessions, including technical drills, sparring, and tactical analysis
4. Develop athletes’ physical conditioning, agility, coordination, reaction time, and endurance specific to fencing
5. Analyse athletes’ performance during training and competitions and provide constructive feedback for improvement
6. Develop competition strategies and bout plans based on opponent analysis
7. Ensure safe training practices and compliance with fencing safety standards and equipment requirements
8. Monitor athletes’ progress and maintain training records and performance reports
9. Provide mentoring on sportsmanship, discipline, and mental resilience.
10. Organise and supervise training schedules, camps, and competition participation.
11. Liaise with parents, clubs, schools, and sporting organisations regarding athlete development and competition matters.

Qualification and skills:

1. At least diploma in physical education and related area;
2. Accredited by Australian Fencing Federation;
3. At leaset 5 years of fencing coach experience;
4. Good coaching and instructional skills;
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills;
6. Experience in national or international competitions preferred;
