We’re seeking a reliable and caring Environmental Service Worker with demonstrated experience in cleaning to support our Bribie Island Aged Care service with maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In this role, you’ll help create a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our residents by ensuring resident rooms, shared areas and infection control standards are met while supporting the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of residents.What you’ll be doingPerform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste removalClean and disinfect surfaces in accordance with infection control and aged care compliance standardsMaintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of resident rooms and shared spacesFollow established cleaning schedules, checklists, and documented proceduresWorking as part of a supportive team to deliver quality care and serviceImportantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Integrity, Compassion, Excellence and Courage.What we’re looking forA reliable team player with a positive attitudeAbility to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygieneExperience in aged care, hospitality, cleaning or laundry (highly regarded)Currently hold a National Police Check (or ability to obtain)Australian Work Rights (Sponsorship unavailable for this role)Employee Benefits:As a not-for-profit, permanent employees can salary package up to $18,549 p.a. tax-free — $15,900 on everyday expenses and $2,649 on meals/entertainment, which can significantly increase your take-home pay.
