Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Technologist to support the design, development, implementation, and improvement of mechanical systems and tooling solutions. This role bridges the gap between engineering theory and practical implementation, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake analysis and interpretation of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to determine suitability for production and application

• Assist in the design, development, and modification of mechanical equipment, tooling systems, and production processes

• Evaluate and optimise engineering solutions for efficiency, recommend new engineer technology to production line, try to achieve cost-effectiveness, and performance outcomes

• Conduct testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment

• Apply engineering technology knowledge to improve workflows, materials usage, and operational processes

• Liaise with engineers, production staff, and clients to ensure technical requirements and project specifications are met

• Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and implementation plans

• Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant Australian standards, codes, and safety regulations

Key requirements:

• Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Engineering or related discipline

• English and Mandarin bilingual language skills are essential

• Minimum one year experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
