Our Client, Rushel Produce is an agricultural company engaged in large-scale farming operations, and they are currently looking for skilled Diesel Motor Mechanics to join their team.
This position is responsible for providing effective and efficient mechanical services, including the repair, servicing, and maintenance of machinery, equipment, plants, and vehicles.
Duties and responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines, machinery, and related mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in vehicles and equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to maximize equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot reported faults and resolve them promptly to maintain safe and continuous operation.
- Inspect, clean, lubricate, and replenish fluids and components of engines, machinery, and vehicles.
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users
- Conduct safety checks and risk assessments on machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and operational issues.
- Utilize tools, equipment, and resources efficiently and safely to complete all tasks.
Qualification
- Relevant experience or qualifications for a similar role
- Australian Citizens & Permanent Residents only
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions etc.
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- A problem-solving ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
Salary Offered: $76,000 - $80,000 per annum
