Customer Service and Optical Assistant - Newtown

Join our team as an Optical Assistant, a dynamic and engaging role where you’ll aim to deliver exceptional customer service, and exceed sales targets. Your responsibilities will include: 

You and the team will look closely with our experienced Store Partner and Store Manager, gaining valuable commercial and operational experience. Our store is involved in our joint venture partnership, where we have had the opportunity to work alongside exceptional business leaders who have joined Oscar Wylee as part owners of our stores.

• Actively engaging with customers to identify their eyewear needs and delivering top-notch service, aiming to go above and beyond to exceed sales targets. 
• Provide expert recommendations and eyewear styling advice to customers, ensuring they find the best frames for them!
• Bringing a positive and energetic presence to the store everyday, making sure customers queries and needs are well and truly met
•  Offering your support to fellow team members and contributing to a harmonious and supportive work environment.

About You: 

• Strong background in fast-paced retail settings
• Excellent communication skills - direct and easy for customers to understand.
• Highly motivated and proactive, ready to step in and take initiative to ensure customers leave the store happy.
• A people person, ready to offer assistance with an approachable and empathetic manner
• Flexible to work late evening and weekends
