The venue offers a vibrant breakfast and lunch dining experience, featuring a diverse menu of modern café favourites prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and delivered with a focus on quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

To support the café’s operational requirements and maintain its high standards, Frankie’s Food Factory Glenhaven is seeking skilled and experienced Cooks to join its kitchen team. These roles are essential to assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen quality and hygiene standards, and ensure a smooth service during peak periods.

Salary Range: $75,000–$80,000 AUD

Location: 609 Old Northern Road, Glenhaven, NSW 2156

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes, ensuring adherence to portion sizes, presentation standards, and food safety requirements.
  2. Maintain the quality and consistency of all dishes across service periods, ensuring alignment with the café’s culinary standards.
  3. Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  4. Implement and uphold hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with HACCP principles and relevant regulatory requirements.
  5. Support the kitchen team during service to ensure smooth operations.
  6. Assist with daily kitchen setup (mise en place), inventory monitoring, and ingredient preparation as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Minimum of 2–3 years of full-time experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
  2. Ability to consistently prepare and present dishes in line with recipe standards, maintaining flavour, quality, and presentation during high-volume service periods.
  3. Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP) with a demonstrated commitment to a safe and compliant kitchen.
  4. Skilled in the use of commercial kitchen equipment and able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  5. A positive, adaptable, and professional attitude, with strong time management and teamwork skills.
