Twopeck x Ommo Ommo crispy chicken - mount druitt currently seeking a skilled, efficient and a passionate Cook to join our team. This position is a full-time ongoing role, working 38 hours per week, based in Mount Druitt, NSW.

Two-peck x Ommo Ommo Crispy Chicken is a vibrant casual dining restaurant located in Westfield Mt Druitt. Specialising in Korean and Taiwanese-inspired cuisine, we offer a diverse & evolving menu featuring signature crispy fried chicken, gourmet burgers, chicken popcorn, corndogs, and a range of beverages.
As part of our ongoing business growth, we are expanding our operations to include a more structured dine-in offering, with an increased focus on menu development, quality control, and streamlined kitchen processes to enhance overall customer experience and food consistency.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Cook who can prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard in a fast-paced kitchen. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining food quality, kitchen efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards.
As a Cook, you will be responsible for the following duties:
·Prepare and cook a variety of menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
·Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of all food items
·Assist in food preparation process including marination, coating and ingredient preparation
·Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
·Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
·Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
·Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
·Work effectively in a fast-paced environment during peak service periods
·Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
·Follow standard recipes and procedures to maintain quality and efficiency
Skills & Experience – Who we’re looking for:
For this position, it is expected that you will possess the following qualifications/work experience:
·Minimum Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or related qualification OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of qualifications
·Demonstrated experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
·Experience with handling high-volume orders
·Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
·High attention to detail and commitment to food quality
·Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
·Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
·Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends
·A positive attitude and strong work ethic
