About the Role

The Boulevard Cafe on the Lake is a welcoming cafe known for serving fresh, high-quality food in a relaxed atmosphere. We are passionate about great food and excellent customer service. We are seeking a skilled and passionate full-time Cook to join our team. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items to a high standard

• Preparing ingredients including vegetables, proteins, sauces and condiments for daily kitchen operations

• Ensuring consistent food quality, presentation and portion control across all dishes

• Maintaining a clean and well-organised kitchen environment

• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times

• May assist Head Chef/Chefs with menu development and recipe planning

• Working collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent service

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Cook in a similar environment

• Relevant culinary qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen

• Good communication and teamwork skills
