About the role
With an expanding pipeline of exciting projects, an opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed hard worker to join the award winning team.
Key Responsibilities for the role
* Opening & closing of worksite
* Drive projects from start to finish, while also completing on time and on budget
* Comply with site safety rules to minimise work related accidents and injuries
* Ensure adherence with health and safety regulations and company safety systems and polices
* Inspect construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
* Enforce site safety rules to minimise work-related accidents and injuries.
* Supervise and instruct the construction team as well as subcontractors.
* Ensure teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
* Handle onsite accidents in accordance with established company incident management procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of construction employee attendance and keep a daily site diary.
* Evaluate the performance of construction employees
* Analysing plans and specifications to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
* Carry out site works/tasks as required.
* Carry out quality inspections and ITP's
* Liaise with principal representatives and attend site meetings and inspections
Skills & experience
* Experience running $20 million plus projects
* Concrete suspended slab experience
* Tilt panel experience
* QBCC Site Supervisor licence - medium rise or above
* Certificate III Carpentry
* 5+ years' experience working as a site supervisor
* Certifications - CPR and First Aid
