About the role 

An opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic Clinical Support Nurse, with excellent clinical knowledge and recent experience in nursing practice. This exciting role is part of the Learning & Teaching Practice Capability team, within the Medical and Surgical programs, providing clinical support to learners and staff in our wards across Eastern Health. You will be supported in the role by our Clinical Nurse Educators. 

About you  

To be successful in this role you will possess: 

  • Current Nursing registration with AHPRA  

  • Recent clinical experience in nursing, across all areas of care 

  • Experience providing clinical support and teaching 

  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience 

  • A strong commitment to high quality care 

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
