The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential technical support to our engineering and construction teams, assisting in the planning, design, and delivery of a variety of civil and building projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support in the design, planning, and documentation of civil engineering projects using CAD and relevant software.
- Conduct site inspections, surveys, and field measurements to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, plans, reports, and project documentation.
- Perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards throughout project phases.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and on-site teams to resolve technical issues and optimize construction methods.
- Contribute to project scheduling, resource coordination, and progress reporting to support timely and efficient project delivery.
Requirements:
- At least five years of work experience as a Civil Engineering Technician or a similar role.
- Proficiency with CAD software and surveying equipment
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and standards
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in both office and site environments
