Civil Construction Supervisor

Turtle Traffic Pty Ltd is looking for a committed Civil Construction Supervisor to become part of our expanding team in a full-time capacity. This leadership role is hands-on, guiding daily operations across civil construction sites to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards

Responsibilities:

·Project and Site Operations – Oversee daily site activities, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure project programs, schedules, and outcomes are achieved.

·Safety and Compliance – Implement WHS&E requirements, conduct inductions, manage subcontractor compliance, and lead regular safety audits and inspections.

·Documentation and Reporting – Prepare daily diaries, time sheets, delivery records, and inspection/test plans; certify staff timecards; and report incidents promptly.

·Resource and Materials Management – Program manpower and equipment, organize surveys and set-outs, ensure proper calibration of tools, and coordinate timely procurement and delivery of materials.

·Quality Assurance – Verify construction work against drawings, codes, and specifications; maintain inspection records; and ensure plant/equipment servicing and site security.

Qualifications:

·Proven experience in construction projects, with strong knowledge of site operations, project scheduling, and resource management.

·Solid understanding of WHS&E (Workplace Health, Safety & Environment) standards, risk analysis, and compliance requirements.

·Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams, coordinate subcontractors, and liaise effectively with project managers and stakeholders.

·Proficiency in construction documentation, including daily diaries, time sheets, inspection/test plans, and quality assurance reporting.

·Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to ensure projects meet specifications, codes, and deadlines
