About the Role:

We are seeking a three caring and dedicated Child Care Workers to join our team. The successful applicant will assist in the delivery of age-appropriate learning activities and ensure children’s safety, wellbeing, and daily routines are managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in setting up and preparing materials, equipment, and environments for children’s learning and play activities.
2. Supporting and guiding children’s behaviour to encourage positive social and emotional development.
3. Planning and leading engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development.
4. Entertaining and educating children through storytelling, reading, and interactive play.
5. Supervising children during indoor and outdoor recreational activities to always ensure safety.
6. Overseeing children’s daily routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and structured activities.
7. Promoting good hygiene practices and assisting children with personal care when necessary.

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience in a childcare or early learning environment.
2. Strong understanding of early childhood development and behaviour management.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
5. Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
