Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to menu development.

Key Duties

  1. Plan menus and estimate food and labour costs
  2. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard
  3. Supervise and train kitchen staff
  4. Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance with regulations
  5. Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  6. Manage stock ordering, rotation, and inventory control
  7. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment

Skills & Experience Required

  1. Relevant qualification (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
  2. Minimum 2-years relevant work experience as a Chef
  3. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills
