Primary Espresso is a well-established café known for its exceptional breakfast, lunch and outstanding service. We are currently seeking two experienced and passionate Chefs to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards.
  2. Develop creative menus and new recipes, tailored to customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
  3. Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation, plating, and presentation.
  4. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  5. Manage budget and financials, handle inventory, place supply orders, and minimize food waste.
  6. Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff.
  7. Uphold the highest standards of quality while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Experience Required

  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
  2. Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification (preferred).
  3. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  6. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
